The 3rd Global Fashion and Design Week has started with great energy and enthusiasm from 17th January 2019. Many stalls were placed to showcase their products.
Afsana Khan, a fashion designer from Lucknow displayed Chikankari Kurtas made by Artisans. She has been a part of an NGO since 20 years whose artisans make these kurtas and the profits are distributed among them.
Sangeeta Ilmi makes herbal products by herself. From 15 years she started making these herbal products for her friends and family but from the last 2 yrs she has shifted this commercially.
Akshay Mundra, an alumni of AAFT from Varanasi manufactures the famous Banaras Sarees. They’ve been in this business since generations as it’s their family business.
Students of School of Fashion and Design made handicrafts on Jungle Theme which were displayed in the stall. The collection was so colourful and creative.
Also, Varnieka S Chauhan came for Numerology and Tarot Reading.
