Croatian Documentaries Shine at 13th Global Festival of Journalism and AVGC Noida 2025

Noida, India – The 13th Global Festival of Journalism, in collaboration with AVGC Noida 2025, featured a special screening of two powerful Croatian documentaries: “Louder than Guns” directed by Miroslav Sikavica, and “Ježev’s Home” directed by Eva Cvijanović. The screenings were met with a house-full audience and received widespread appreciation for their impactful storytelling and cinematic brilliance.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Festival and Chair for the Indo-Croatia Film and Cultural Forum, addressed the gathering and praised the artistic depth and cultural significance of the films. He highlighted the importance of such international collaborations in enriching global understanding through cinema.

As a gesture of recognition, a Certificate of Distinction was awarded to the featured films. The certificate was officially presented to the Embassy of Croatia, with the intent to forward it to the respective directors as a token of honor from the festival. These screenings reinforced the festival’s mission to serve as a platform for global creative exchange and cultural diplomacy through the art of filmmaking.
